Cruzer, thanks for the video of Red Bay. Just completed touring Entrgra last week and major differences in construction and methods. Also, toured Newmar and Monaco (when they we're in Oregon) and Entegra has impressed me with the overall engineering and workmanship. Chassis reinforcement, flooring construction, sideout design / installation, roofing, tile installation with cabinets in place, front & back cap reinforcement, amish workmansip and attention to detail of the entire building process. As my kids would say, very cool. Newmar has very good manufacturing standards and plant is extremely well organized and managed, also same amish workmanship. Monaco moved to Indiana since tour so don't know current processes. We don't have a RV but doing homework to make purchase. Looking for best combination of product, price, performance, service and workmanship and all points are pointing at Entegra's Anthem..........

I'll keep your number Tom and see if I can find your coach for ya!
Mark - i am very excited to see all the things you described in your comparison. That was the most helpful independent study anyone's had to say! I'm pretty ocd about construction and integrity and will be studying the build process closely. I'll try to glean some more info also on 2013 for everyone's benefit

Spartan vs Freightliner

Cruzer confirms what I have always known, that Spartan is superior to Freightliner. I guess I am much different than the average coach buyer because the chassis it just important as floorplan or any other thing. Thats why the Phaeton can be at the price point they are at, because they put them on a cheap rear radiator Freightliner with a ISC engine.
