Entegra Esteem and Odyssey, class C. Anyone seen these offerings on the Entegra or Jayco websites?

I don't know anything about an Esteem or Odyssey, but we were in Middlebury from Oct 22 to Nov 1 and I never dreamed there was such a market for Class C's. They had fields covered in bare chassis. I was really surprised, almost to the extinc that I wondered why Jayco even bothers with diesel pushers. Entegra must be a small part of their total business. Apparently, and to my surprise, there appears to be a big market for Class C's...

Makes sense to me. Between older owners looking to downsize and new younger owners taking up the lifestyle and capitalizing of the Entegra name producing a well made class C might just work out. Just hope it isn't a replay of the Cadillac Cimarron.

I haven’t seen one in person yet but the pictures I saw weren’t that great. From the pictures, it just looked like a typical class C. I worry when I see the name Entegra used on anything that isn’t upper end. If they cheapen the image of the brand, everyone will suffer.
In marketing, image is everything

I agree totally. Roll's Royce doesn't sell an economy car, and Rolex doesn't sell an economy watch.
Entegra's name has been made to mean something special through painful efforts over many years. Putting it on a class C squanders its meaning in an instant, and makes me seriously doubt the wisdom of those who are now controlling Entegra's future.
Does this look like an Entegra to you?

Isn't it just a rebranded Jayco C ? If so It does cheapen the brand. Probably the influence of Thor to capitalize on the Brand name. Manufacturers do sell a ton of class C motorhomes! when we visited the Entegra plant a couple years ago ( before Thor) nearby Jayco had a ton of Chassis waiting! I haven't seen numbers but I'd bet C's outsell A's by a large amount.

Yes, and Kia's outsell Porsche's. But you don't put the Porsche name on a Kia!

The industry rags report 4 or more Class C's sold for each Class A...then, if you separate Diesel Class A's, the ratio would dramatically increase. So, the "business" decision is obvious.
For those who would condemn these new Entegra offerings...a question:
Does the 3 series BMW or the E class Mercedes cheapen the brand?
Hope everyone would say "No".
Like said above, this is opening this premium brand to the new/young buyer -and- the current owner that wants to downsize. The new/young buyer will often want to upgrade someday. And, the current happy owner can keep some of what they love.
Newmar offers gas Class A's (selling a boat-load of them), and these do not cheapen the brand - do they?
But they do not offer Class C's...sadly, leaving these perspective buyer out.
I submit that Entegra has made a VERY positive step here.
Was discussed here:

Safe travels

Saw an Entegra Esteem Class C today in West Palm Beach...downgrades the brand in my opinion...very cheap looking interior.

Well I guess we disagree. A BMW 3 series is a luxury car. Jayco already has a very complete selection of Class C's to offer. The "Entegra" Odyssey looks like one of those Jaycos with the nameplate switched. It doesn't even have full body paint. That is not a luxury RV. So aside from confusing and bamboozling the public, what is gained by this masterful marketing?
