Entegra Cornerstone Bath and 1/2 Vanity

We are looking seriously at the Entegra Cornerstone Bath and 1/2 model and notice the rear double-vanity has no drawers or medicine cabinet. I was wondering if anyone had any comments on the convenience pros and cons for storing typical bathroom supplies/toliet articles? I notice the single bath model has drawers in the double vanity. Thanks for sharing your opinions.

This unit;
New Entegra Coach Cornerstone for sale in Alvarado TX | 2012 Entegra Coach Cornerstone Bath & 1/2 W/4 Slides (45RBQ) 600 HP Diesel RV for Diesel Pusher For Sale from Motor Home Specialist in Alvarado Texas
has drawers/doors in both baths. They aren't false fronts, are they?
Are you able to order one and have it built to your wants/needs?

Thanks for the reply...the rear bath vanity has 3 look-like drawers in the vanity, but they are actually tip-outs. Can't store too much in those. I believe I'd have a cabinet person install drawers/slides inside the outer cabinet doors; perhaps two on each side.

Great looking coach! The rear bath storage would be a problem. However if the price is right for this fine coach a good specialty carpenter can do the job easily. You will love having the half bath! Don't consider the single bath, been there done that, half bath keeps us both happy on the road, especially at rest stops where you can use your toilet!!

Thanks for the welcome post. I see there is a Jayco/Entegra Forum. I'll launch future posts from there. Too late to move this one over...

We added sliding drawers to the inside of the cabinet. Works fine, otherwise the shelves would be useless.

We looked at this unit yesterday. Wife noticed the vanity but never commented on the drawers.
The only drawback on this rig is that it is required to have the interior lights on all of the time. Yes folks, it's that dark in there.

I moved it for you. Hopefully more Entegra owners will chime in. Good luck.

Visited Entegra dealer today to look at the Cornerstone as well and saw what you mean in the bathroom. The factory national Sales Manager , Tadd, was at the dealership walked me through the coach from to back. I pointed out your comment about the lack of drawers. He indicated they will fix that drawer issue in the near future. There also is no medicine cabinet which my salesman and I solved pretty easily

Thanks for the update on the vanity issue. Can you comment on how you solved the medicine chest issue?

We evaluated the wall to the right of the vanity and that seems to be pretty much just a divider. You hit your hand on it and it flexes a lot. So with that said we would put either a standard size mirror or bulid some boxes that fit between the vertical studs in the wall.

The factory rep said we could get some millwork from the factory to make a nice frame for the cabinet. The vanity cabinet could be really tall to store some extra bottles in or the like. We of course are checking to be sure there are no cables or other hardware in that wall that we need to be concerned with. But thats our goal. Probably $300 all told. if possible we hope to also put in an electric outlet to charge things like a toothbrush shaver etc. to keep off the counter when in storage. Dont want to run the gorgeous aesthetics of the vanity

Hi Workbgone -
I'm going to amend my other statement about the medicine cabinet - there's a pocket door on the right side for the closet so our solution isnt going to work on that wall. Perhaps on the BR side it will but for now we dont have a solution . Robin told me about you so i guess we are both working on the same problem. Its just sad it has to be a problem and not solved .
I've been working with Paul at Precision for some solutions. I'll keep you posted.

Great, thanks for the reply rdostal. Hopefully, a solution will be forthcoming. Those, seemingly unimportant, details can be very important when your staying in the coach for extended periods.
