Entegra Electric Slides

I am told all sides on the Entegras are electric. Seems the weight with a residential refrigerator on a slide would be questionable. Also told the motors can be popped out and replaced if one brakes and needs to be replaced. Overnight FedX and pop a new one in sounds too good to be true. Any thoughts or experience with slide problems out there... thanks

My refrigerator isn't in the slide, and so far they have all worked flawlessly. Noel

Mine's in the slide and it has worked great for 2 years. All the Entegra slide motors are interchangeable so in the event of a failure, you pull in a slide remove the motor (easy) and swap in for the bad motor. The slides are well engineered by Entegra to handle the load by drive gear reduction matched to the weight.
By the way a standard RV gas/elec refrig is heavier than a residential model of the same size.
