Entegra Paint

We were looking at the new Entegra's at LazyDays yesterday and noticed the paint job on the 3 they had on the sales lot were not of the same quality as the coaches we originally looked at during the Tampa RV show this past Jan. I just wonder if the ramped up production is affecting their QC?

Very interested in knowing the details and differences that you noticed? We are considering selling our current Entegra and getting a new one and would be interested in what you saw?

We observed very thin paint on some areas and extremely bad "orange peel" around all the windows, especially on the drivers side. This was true of all 3 coaches that we looked at. In the past, Entegra paint jobs seemed to be a step above most of the others!

I'm a little confused. I am also at Lazydays, in service. There are only 2 Entegras currently available for sale(1 is "sale pending")and the paint seems fine. Please explain how you can tell the paint is "thin".

Gary....When I left there yesterday there were two units (Anthems) on the Crown Club sale lot. There were also 2 Aspires in the service area getting prepped for delivery. The paint surface had a different texture in several spots and did not have the sheen like the rest. The heavy orange peel should be obvious on the two out on the lot. The one marked sold evidently has fallen through. We got to test drive an Anthem and it was a very quiet ride!

I know if you email customer service and ask or state your concerns you'll get an answer ASAP. If there is a concern I believe someone will take a serious look into any issue anyone has and do something about it if necessary.

we have a 2012 anthem that we've had for 12 months and has 10K+ on it at this time. we are noticing what appears to be a few to many rock chips showing up on the lower 1/3 of the coach on both sides. so far, the coach has been on pavement only... it appears that the paint and clear coat are a bit thin.... after we catch up on the "other things" that the dealer has it for.. later this fall we will address why the paint is chipping.

I would find a body shop with the equipment it takes to check to see how thick the paint is on the coach
