Wayne,

I asked the factory why the removed the ladder and they said it was for a cleaner look. They also said there is support in the rear cap if you want to add one.

I suspect it helps with liability as well.

Thanks MSMATT,

Thanks good to know, I do like the coach without it, but just wondering what's my option if I truly need to get on the roof.

Thanks again,
Tony

Matt is correct. The higher end coaches do not have a ladder. It's Entegras intent to stay "in line" w/ that philosophy. That said every coach has the holes built into the coach should the owner prefer the ladder; it's easily installed without the need to punch holes into the rear of the coach. IMHO keeping in line with trying to over engineer the coach but maintaining some flexibility for the individual owner.

The rep from the dealership that I'm working with just got back to me on a few questions that I asked concerning a few options that are on the 2013 Anthem. Below is her response to the questions I asked.

"I'll try to list each option and give you a description....

Canadian Standards - The connectors are different for the wiring...if you are just visiting Canada you won't have any issue crossing the border without this option - not a necessary option at all in my opinion.

Mobile Eye - Sensor that emits a laser and if you get outside the white line there is a beeping noise...if a car cuts in front of you or gets too close to your front then it emits a beep - I don't really have an opinion on this option....if you like it I'd say get it....but not something that is showing a lot of mass appeal in units I've ordered so far.

Dual 100 Watt Solar Panels - Charge the house batteries using solar power - with the inverter and the residential fridge this is an excellent option.

The awning is still available...it is a second awning and is called Nova - in my opinion this option is well worth the money, it allows the entire passenger side of the coach to be under shade when you're parked....just really enhances the unit."

On the Nova awning the end tilts down on the last 2 or 3 feet of the leading edge to give you more shade and wind protection. IF you do not get the second awning you will not have this feature on your front awning, it will be the standard, straight awning that provides less shade and is more sensitive to the wind. So....I agree it is an excellent option that everyone should seriously consider adding to their coach order.

I know Gene was at Entegra and seen 2 of the 3 new paint schemes, but we have pics of them and we posted them under the Entegra Updates post. Both are great, but we're partial to the Ebony Blaze, and not just because thats what we bought. Maybe because it was the 1st of it's kind off the line. But they are both a lot better in person. Pics do them no justice.
