WOW!!!

Hi Entegra Friends,

Has anyone had an
opportunity to do an
Entegra factory tour
ahead of the completion
of their coach?

We are looking at
doing a factory tour
around the last week
of July after the coach
comes back from
Precision Paint for
its final installations.

Appreciate your thoughts.
Cheers,
Gary & Carol

Sounds gret Gary, just allow plenty of time for it to all happen. We have to remember that Entegra does NOT pressure or hurry the process jut to get them out the door, they truly strive to do a very high quality build and that does not lend itself to strict schedules, if they see a problem on a coach they fix it BEFORE it moves on and that is bound to slow the process at times BUT yields gret results in coach quality. I am at the factory now and ican attest that the workers seem relaxed, not hurried and committed to quality. I observed some of this in practice on the build floor today. From what I say and heard, I know you will get a great coach that you will enjoy for many years. All just my opinion based on observations at the factory.

Hi, Gene,

Thanks for your reply.
Excellent that you are
currently visiting the
factory...imagine that
it must bring a smile to
see how everything
comes together to produce
such well-built coaches.

Agree that quality
is of the essence,
and since we have
all the time in
the world at this
point, there are
really no deadlines
nor time constraints.

So, a lovely young
woman named Heather
(who assists with
coordinating factory
visits) is keeping us
informed on when
we should plan our
factory visit.
We live in St Louis,
so it's an easy drive
for us whenever it
works out to be
convenient with
the folks
at Entegra.

Cheers,
Gary and Carol

If anyone is interested - I don't know about all production models, but I was informed a little while ago by my dealer that due to "some shortages and changes that have been made on the Cornerstone", production has been put back "a bit". I was looking at a September delivery, and now looking at a October delivery. Good news is some of the changes that are being made are as follows: The tank monitoring system will now be the SeeLeveL System; the 26" TV in the cockpit area is being replaced by a 32" LED TV and centered; Blue Ray is being installed in the main living area and a 46" LED TV will be replacing the 40" LCD TV; an additional 12V plug is being added by the driver and another one by the passenger, and a 110V plug is being added to the passenger area so you can plug a lap-top in.

Ron, all of those changes appear to be in production now, with more to follow. As for the pics, we have left but there is a whole run of Cornerstones on the line and in the lot right now.
Gary, I think they are now taking January orders.
Gary, we came through St. Louis this evening and are at the KOA in Stanton tonight.

Those are all changes we told them they should think about in November last year. They seem to listen when customers talk. I'm surprised they didn't do Blu ray earlier in stead of the standard. Blu ray players play all DVD's. I never understood the little TV up front. When there's a lot of activity in the kitchen area watching that TV is useless. Other than the 110 plug you say they added, there are no 110 plug ins closer to the front than the one in the overhead of the sink area.
Still glad to see they are steadily making the product even better.

Shardan,
There is a 110 plug in overhead in front above driver side. Don't know if that would help.

Actually Dana they have added 2 110 plugs near the front. The one in the console beside the co-pilots chair and another in the passenger side slide in front of the kitchen! Ask, and you shall receive, well........within reason I guess. lol

We know about that one, but for all intensive purposes, it not very usable, except if we add a Bluray up there.

For those that order one of these in 2012 and have to wait a year to get it... Does the model year go by the order date or pick up date?
