Enolaeagle it would be the date manifactured thst would determine the year. We ordered a 2011 last spring but by the time it was ready in June they had switched to 2012 model year and so that is what we got. No changes in pricing.

Does anyone know how many square feet of storage there is in the basement of a 2013 42RBQ?

Lots.
I wouldn't really put to much stock in published numbers. You can skew them any way you want and include useless corners and areas that you really can't utilize. Looking at it firsthand is the best option. I will say that the Anthem has more space than my Allegro Bus. The Bus isn't bad in itself and is one of the better basements but the Entegras manage to squeeze a bit extra room out of it by using a few tricks in equipment placement.
One example is the inverter/charger(s). Entegra places mounts them beneath the floor, tucked up between the two frame rails where you can't store anything anyway. That frees up any space otherwise used to mount the inverter for other uses. That's just one example. They also have greater height beneath the frame rails so you'll be able to pass taller storage containers beneath them than you can in my Allegro Bus.

So it sounds like these units are the Cats Meow of motorhomes. I would be nervous to order something like that and wait a year or so to actually get it...as the workload gets larger, much more expense arises with more equipment, employees etc.. not being able to pump em out fast enough can run them in the Red. Well, I guess that's why I would be nervous.
With trading in your old units, how does that work since you would have a year of use down the road before the final deal?

Steve, we saw two of the three new paint schemes, the Ebony Blaze and the Midnight Illusion. They are both great. The ebony blaze has a lighter color lower rear panel that will not show dust and dirt bad. The Midnight Illusion is absolutely beautiful and elegant. It is a rich, classy looking coach with a dark red to maroon lower panel that is really classy but will be harder to keep looking clean as it willahow dust and dirt more. They have not produced a Radiant Copper unit yet so weweredisappointed not to see it answer THINK that is the color that we would prefer.

I just looked at Motor Home Specialist's website and according to the website they have five Anthems, eight Aspires, and three Cornerstones on the lot at a reduced price.

Gene,
Does the brownish stripe on the Ebony blaze scheme have more of a brown or copper hue? The printed renderings don't represent the true colors. The paint chip says it's a dark copper metallic. Let us know!

Dana, it is really more of a dark copper to me. Steve, I agree, we ordered a Radiant Copper unit and would really like to see one. We DID see an actual panted outline of a coach on a 3 ft. long panel at the factory and we really do like what we see. The lower color on the back is really a gold color.

Jeez guys when yours comes in do us poor old folks who have to wait til almost December a favor and take some good pics and post them so we can see what we bought! In our opinion , it will be hard to top that Tuscan Sun or even the White Diamond Pearl that we have now but got to admit we saw the other two colors while at the factory and they are beautiful. So, hopefully, the Radiant Copper will be a killer color also.

Well gotta say, I'm loving the Entegra but no way I am waiting 6 months for one. They need to get em out faster or they will lose customers.

I must disagree, according to one of the reps. from RVDirect, Entegra produces about five units per week. This definitely gives me the impression that they take their time and ensure quality in their products and in my opinion they're setting the standard in comparison to their competitors. I understand waiting can be frustrating, but I much rather wait six months for a quality coach backed by one of the longest warranties in the industry, than purchasing a problematic coach from a manufacturer that puts out 50 units a week. I've been research my RV purchase for about four months now and Entegra produces coaches can easily compete with some of the higher end coaches. Personally, I wouldn't waste 300k plus on someone that mass produce units without ensuring quality and do not stand behind their products.
I don't see Entegra losing business because of the wait, mainly because most individuals that have decided to purchase Entegra are already impressed with the quality, service after the sale, and they realize that there are only a few manufacturers that come close. I would suggest that, if you're not committed to waiting then Entegra may not be the right coach for you. I know for myself, I've been in a few of the competitors units and once you see a Entegra in person it's very difficult to settle for anything else.
Just my two cent.
Tony

Actually there is merit in what both of you are saying. I can relate to both of you, we have ordered a new Anthem and are really anxious to get it HOWEVER, the overriding concern is that they take the time they need to insure that we get the highest quality coach possible. After all, that is why we stayed with Entegra to get the very best quality combined with value available in the industry. Wait times can be frustrating and quality coaches are a must. Oh, and by the way, Entegra is producing 10 coaches per week and really would like to get to 12 while still insisting on a quality build. I have no facts but my crystal ball tells me that they are not going to be happy with 6 month wait times either and I predict that we see an announcement of an expansion of the factory in the not too distant future. Entegra understands competition and human nature to get in a hurry once you have made a purchase decision and I think that they wil address it soon. Besides, if you just "have to have a coach SOON" there are some units starting to be available on dealer lots if you can live with the colors, models and options available. All just my opinion.
