Hopefully your next trip will be uneventful as far as problems with the MH. I'm sorry yours is one that has had problems, I'm glad to hear that Entegra has let you get the problems fixed where you wanted to and are working with you to solve them all. BTW, so far, I haven't had any problems - and I'm not being paid by Entegra or anyone else to say that. But, I am open to "talking" about being paid if anyone wants to pay me! :-)

Anyone out there getting paid to defend Entegra on issues posted on this forum...if so, I'd like to know...pls PM me? I wouldn't mind applying to Entegra for some paid consultant money to supplement my retirement fund; however, I find that suggestion borderline hilarious!

Holy cow - I know many of the folks who post here personally. If you're getting paid and haven't told me I am really upset. I could use the money for the Wine Fund.
Over time I have seen us get pretty riled up when issues are turned into attacks on Entegra. FWIW it seems as if there is less of that on both sides.
I also have seen several folks advised to try to "Catch more with honey than vinegar" That can come across as harsh to some, but it is really good advice and has certainly worked for me when dealing with Middlebury.
I also have seen very similar emotions on other sites. We all love our choices and it's easy to be defensive given the time and $$$ involved.
I find there is a lot more wheat than chaff here and just try to ignore the latter

Cruzer no problem. I read best and good in the same post and was looking for any things to pay attention when looking to compare. I consider my comments on this subject closed.

Actually, I think that there are some paid Entegra "defenders" on the forum. I think they get paid the same amount that Newmar pays their "defenders" - zero.
In reality, both of these are good brands and make their owners proud enough that they like to brag about their respective brand. That works fine until you put both bunches into the same room.

I guess I am one of those "paid" backers of Entegra because I have PAID plenty to do it!
Update on window replacement mentioned earlier in thread. Window arrived today and will be installed today. I guess delivery isn't always 3 weeks. To bad it can't be that way the first time they place an order.

Entegra QC issues
Have been reading this thread to my chagrin, since having many problems with our Tiffin36LA. Man, I know all about the endless issues that a new coach can have when there are factory QC and manufacturing deficiencies. That is why I am checking out Entegra. It seems that the Tiffin dealer we dealt with likes the high end Tiffin models LESS than the Entegras. What does that tell you? I have not read anything about structural roof rail and end cap problems. So Entegra is on my list if they can't fix ours the way it should be.
I know well the disappointment associated with spending a chunk of change on something that was meant for recreation and then getting "snookered". Best of luck .Go for the Entegra!

I too have followed many of the threads here in the Entegra forum and hope to find a USED Entegra or Newmar coach after my Irv2.com classified ad finds a buyer for my sig. coach. I cannot afford the depreciation hit on any more NEW coaches.
After following Chuck's issues with his "as delivered" quality, and the additional comments in this thread about the QC issues that USED to exist at Middlebury, I am interested in learning "when" is the time frame during which "poor management" and "QC problems" allowed sub-par coaches to be assembled / shipped.
Can anybody suggest a date range of coaches to be wary of? Thanks, Ed

Cruzer, thanks for your replies and info you've posted on here! For a long time we were on the fence about what coach to buy as we do our research before going full-time. We were convinced that the Winnebago Tour 42GD was the rig for us. We went to the Phoenix Rally this past weekend and talked to some full-timers who have been doing this for over 20 years. So low-and-behold, we are now convinced that an Entegra Anthem 44B is perfect for us, and especially after seeing what you said about customer service, reliability, etc., it just gives us even more reassurance that we're making the right decision!
