Entegra Questions from a Newbie

Hi, All. We're in the final stages of making a decision on a 2009 Entegra Anthem. The mh is out of state, so we're having a friend take a cursory look at it, but want to have a RV Inspector do a thorough inspection before we make a decision. It's a one owner, low mileage, great condition mh, and it will be our first motorhome. We're retiring and want to fulltime for a few years.

Was wondering if anyone on this thread is aware of or knows a RV Inspector in Michigan or close to Michigan. I've searched the Internet, but haven't found anything...maybe I'm not using the right keywords.

Any other helpful information will be greatly appreciated. We're hoping to make a final decision within the next two weeks. Thanks!

I am big Entegra fan and I have never personally seen a 2009 model to make a educated reply on that year coach but IMPO I would shy away from it if it was me....Entegra is now building some great coaches (2013) but like every company they have had their growing pains and Entegra is still trying to find its nitch in the industry.... I would reccomend a 2013 Entegra over any coach in its price point, in fact I reccomend it over many coaches well over its price point and I personally think the 2014's are going to be even better. That said I would not buy any manufactors first year coach including Enterga

I have never heard any significant problems with the 2009's. It might have been Entegra's first but it was a well respected Travel Supreme model before. I also think that the 2013's are great but like new cars, the next year’s models are always even better!
The 2009 should be a great buy if the regular maintenance was done. Good luck with your purchase.

You could also call Entegra and ask them to give you a history of this coach and any suggestions they might have prior to purchase. I'm sure they'd be happy to help you. Try Joyce or Don in customer service.
