For those of you (like us) that have never been to a Entegra Rally before, a short of what to expect.
Enjoy

Also, concur...... great video Glenn and Julia!

We have not been to one of Entegra's "fests" but seeing your video gives us renewed motivation to try to attend one of them, even if spring and fall are not our typical "touring" times (more likely, our "S & B times").

We can also understand your change in attitude as we have been through a similar experience as you two, and had a virtually identical reaction. We had to make an emergency detour to Middlebury in the middle of a major 3 month long trip and conflicting with our commitment and investment to go to the Hilton Head Rally last October. The emergency was that we had so much water pouring into our outer walls behind the sheetrock from two major leaks that it had shorted out all our lights for the entire couch and they could not be fixed by us. This was a trip ending problem. We were pretty angry when we had to break plans and head to Middlebury, at their suggestion. However, the people in Middlebury were fantastic. Without me having to force the issue, Mike Becker (head shop guy) said he was concerned about the possibility of mold and mildew in addition to the lighting problem (I thought that this would be something I would have to argue for forcefully), and they took the coach away from us for three or four days so that it could be sent to the rain room over in the production building where it was worked on by the techs that build them. During that time, Dee and I and the two cats spent the time away from the coach at an Elkhart hotel at their expense. They ripped out all the electronics and many of the front interior walls, and put it all back together just like new. Mike Lucas, my service coordinator, listened to every problem that we had in addition to the main one that brought us to Middlebury and by the time we left, we had them all fixed and 90% of our problems resolved (stuff that would need to go to the paint shop). Glenn's point in his video beyond the fest itself, was how impressed he was by Entegra's team's attitude in getting problems resolved, and Dee and I felt exactly the same way. Some newbies on this list wonder what Entegra's service commitment is like and do they really stand behind their product. The answer to that is quite clearly..... Yes, and you might not see it as clearly as if you have a major problem that really is going to destroy your RV experience, and they come through with flying colors. I would rather have never had problems, but if they have to occur, then the company's attitude in getting them resolved means everything. Less serious problems are things that can be resolved by a mobile tech, or a visit to a quality shop, or by the owner themselves in some cases. But they stay "in-there" with you until it is resolved, and that is impressive. We left Middlebury really impressed....... really impressed. Thank you everyone at Middlebury.

After owning several new RV's, we have definitely come to understand that it does not matter how much you spend, you will have SOME problems even with brand new (ESPECIALLY WITH BRAND NEW!) vehicles. That is just the RV industry. The thing you shop for is the support AFTER THE SALE and that is why we are going to by Entegra. I have yet to find a pattern of raging complaints from owners on recurring problems that seem to just keep happening over and over again in the Entegra community. I am not seeing REPEAT QC issues that are not being addressed. What I am seeing is failures of components that Entegra (and most other manufacturers) use, and that cannot be blamed on them. I feel good about our decision to purchase, and always advise anyone who is shopping to spend a lot of time on the forums to learn the "TRUTH" about what happens after the sale. Thanks again Glenn and Julia for sharing your journey, it only reinforces our decision.

Opinion Changed

I would have said more but it sounded too slushy.

Who mentioned the cup holders...... Watch this space. I have a brilliant idea that will make the 2017 cup holders look old fashioned.

I've ordered the parts so now need to just fit them and film it.

Watch this space.

I will be watching. The DW's new MKX has the LED cup holders and she loves them. Adding them to the MH should be easy.

I don't think I can live without the lighted coffee cup rings. Please rush to publication of the fix for us pre-17 owners

LED Cup holders

OK, cup holders are in and look great (video to follow very shortly) I have chosen green LED to match the RV of course. The way in which I have wired the the 2 x cup holders in the centre dash is wire them to the break light switch as Julia is always opening the door before the break is on and this damages the mechanimsm that pulled the door in. So the way we have them now is that when they are off it's OK to open the door. When they are on the door is locked. It was dead easy to wire these up, the one on the passenger side is just wired to the switch lights that come on with the drive lights.

I'll post a video soon, just finding it hard to get good internet access to upload videos
