Hey ditto, yep I had the ball joint recall done. I was hopeful that it might resolve the issue. But no; there was no perceptible improvement.

Thanks waterboy10, when the dealer discovered there was no grease in the front end I was again hopeful that this might resolve the issue but again NOT! I think the easiest way to get the sense of what's good no on is to drive mine and then a current model for comparison.

It's not that the steering gets worse on a downhill grade it's just that the grade and the bend create conditions that aggravate the effects of the sloppy steering. Since I escalated the conversation with Entegra I am getting some attention.
