Well, we've had our new baby for a few days now so I thought I'd post some of the things I've found. For those of you looking for technical information regarding things like frame or chassis and engine, just skip the rest of this posting. I'm the inside half of the team.

The TV's are all larger than before. I would be guessing if I tried to give you exact screen size but the mid TV is as big as the opening will allow.

The front and bedroom TV's are also larger and the front TV has been relocated to the center.

The countertops are a new color. The dealer referred to them as granite and they do look like granite - just not sure if they really are or if they are just a really nice composite. I was thinking only Cornerstones had the granite but whatever material it is, it's beautiful. And the burners on the stove have been seriously upgraded. Much nicer.

Almost all surfaces are done in the new countertop material - mantel, bedroom dressers and nightstands, end tables. Nice touches. The fabrics used in the bedspread are incredible. No way my dogs will ever get a chance to climb on that! The window treatments in the living/dining area are now trimmed with the lighter leather and the sofas and driver/copilot seats have an insert of dark chocolate leather (we have the Irish Creme interior). It's a very rich look. Even the throw pillows on the sofas are trimmed in the darker leather.

I've been trying to upload pictures for two days now. Obviously I am not doing it right or there would be pictures along with every paragraph. I'll keep working on getting the photos to load and will post them when I get it figured out.

One word of advice to those of you who are getting Aspires also and have not taken delivery yet. When you are doing your PDI, flip on the gas Aqua Hot and make sure all is functioning correctly. We checked the stove during the PDI but didn't turn on the Aqua Hot until after we were at the campground. Unfortunately, it appears that when they pressure tested the LP system before delivery, they did not reassemble one of the fittings correctly. After waiting the recommended 30 minutes and having no hot water, my husband went outside to discover that we had dumped the entire 50 gallon LP tank around the bottom of the coach. We were lucky - we were not camped near anyone, we are not smokers and we weren't using a grill - or the generator. Any of those or any kind of spark and we would have been a headline. Needless to say, we didn't sleep in the coach that night. We shut down the gas and left. The dealership was very prompt in getting the leak repaired the next day - but testing the Aqua Hot at the dealership would have uncovered the problem. So....please check yours. No headlines.

Congrats on the new coach and thank god you both are alright! My stomach is still reeling after reading your horror story. May I ask who the dealer was? What was their excuse for what happened?

It was RV Direct in Orlando. We haven't been given any reason or excuse. We are camped about two hours away from the dealership and were a little unwilling to move the coach after our discovery. They sent a tech out from a local repair facility and he did the repair. I don't think Orlando really believed us when we first called in - I suspect nothing like this has ever happened to them before (and I'll bet they make sure it doesn't happen again). They keep insisting they had filled the LP tank. I agreed - but no one really believed what had happened until after the tech was here. They were unable to find anyone to make a mobile delivery in this area so tomorrow morning we are taking the coach into the local facility. They will add gas and pressure test the system before we head home to TX. We have been running an all electric coach this week. Not too bad since I really didn't have any plans to cook on this trip - and surprisingly, the electric Aqua Hot has kept us very well supplied with hot water. One of the sign offs on the new checklist is that we are aware that the electric portion will not supply enough hot water to shower - and our old coach had proved that when we were having problems with the diesel burner on it. This one does just fine on electric. I was impressed.

I still am thankful that you guys are safe. Are you going to have the dealer go over the coach with a fine tooth comb to make sure all gas fitting are tight? They should give you some type of compensation for your harrowing experience.

The tech who came to the coach checked as many lines as he could - we need some gas in the system before they can do a full pressure test - which will check all gas fittings in the coach. We aren't going back to Orlando, we will have the test done locally by a third party. We really liked the tech who did the repair - the guy knew what he was doing - and we have a prior relationship with the dealer doing the testing. We used to live in this area and had them service our RV when we did. They are not a dealer, strictly a repair facility. When it's your bread and butter, it helps if you do a good job. We'll have a local facility in Texas do any other punch list items. Since we don't live in the Orlando area, it would be really inconvenient to have them do any of the work - and we both have jobs that will not allow us the luxury of staying here to have more done.

Technicians are human. As a group, they work hard and usually get it right. No one was hurt and we are only out a little time and convenience, thankfully. I work with dealerships - cars, motorcycles, jet skis and four wheelers - and sometimes mistakes happen. It's rarely because someone wasn't trying to do his or her job and is not necessarily representative of the dealership.

New burners (and a poor attempt to capture the countertop). Love the burners.

Wnytaxman,
Sorry for the delay. It's a 2012 Anthem 44DLQ with the table and chair option, 2 slide out trays, basement fridge/freezer, kensington interior and Golden Garnet paint. Great Coach. We added some wood corbels in the bathroom. The only reason I wanted to trade was for the Nova Awnings, but we also upgrade about everything except the mobile eye.
When the punch list is fixed it will be available at Lazydays. Call Scott Hamilton at
386-837-5367 for more details and pricing if interested!

I second that thought! WOW! I was just at the factory yesterday bringing our coach in for a few adjustments and saw lots of activity in the plant. I toured a 44SL just to finally see one since it's our ultimate goal in a few years. I love the layout of that coach. Lots of Cornerstones were on the line as well... It's always a joy to go there and chat with all of the Entegra staff.

I envy you guys who already have your coach and have been traveling. I'm still a ways away from my purchase, but I love doing the research prior to the purchase and reading how much everyone is enjoying the brand and their experiences after the sale. So many upgrades and chages are coming out, I can only imagine what Entegra will done when it's time for me to purchase.

Hi! I wonder if that 44SL was ours??? So excited! It came back from paint a few days ago and is shipping out to our dealer next week. What color?

It was dark in color but I don't recall the actual Entegra color scheme (in and out). The inside wood was dark too. There were several 44SL units on the floor. I envy you, but our day will come! The coach was beautiful inside!

I need some help finding a post please. A short time back, there was a thread in the Entegra forum that discussed brake buddies. I thought I had saved it for DH but now I can't find it! I've done searches on every word combo I thought would work without success. Does anyone have the name of the thread? I'm really in the doghouse on this one since I made the mistake of telling him about it before I discovered that it was MIA.
