Yes, sadly ALL coaches will have some issues. With Entegra's amazing support I never worry about them because I know they will be taken care of. These coaches are so complicated and detailed that it's impossible to get everything to work at the 100% level 100% of the time. What's also great about Entegra is the very low number of serious issues. The QC, engineering, and commitment to excellence at the factory sees to that.

Ok. I will in the next few days put a comprehensive list together for you guys. Probably will be over the weekend when I get home. I can see the point that it will help all who reads this. A few are more concerning than most.

We've had our new anthem for just under a month now and haven't had anything major to contend with. Our biggezt issue is the grey tank odor from just about everywhere. Under the dual lav, the washer and dryer, andunder the kitchen sink. Entegra supposedly fixed the grey tank odor issue from the washer drain, but it's still present along with the other areas. Now they also have informed me that they are replacing all the vents inside to correct this problem. The new stainless front dishwasher doesn't work as well as our old one. And the refrigerator still freezes the top 3 shelves. We put 3 thermometers in the fridge. Top shelf hovers between 20 & 30 degrees. The 3rd shelf is a couple degrees warmer and the bottom shelf is about 40 degrees. It's only bad when you want some eggs for breakfast and the eggs are frozen.

Not sure if this will help you but....we experienced some grey tank odor on our new Aspire the first week. The facility that worked on our LP problem suggested that we try a citrus based tank treatment in the black tank, which surprisingly cleared up all odors. He said it didn't really matter what brand, just to make sure that it was citrus based. Worked for us.

On a different note....can anyone suggest what steps we could take to get power to the plugs on both sides of the headboard. We are heading out again and had to pull the coach from our local facility before they had worked their way through our entire punch list. They managed to get to the urgent items (auto leveler reset, ride height adjustment, gen service, LP check, small leak in from a water line going to the fridge) but didn't have time to do the nuisance items....and the two biggees on that list are the plugs to either side of the head board (mine) - they aren't getting any power and we can't find a reason - and that the surround sound is not working when we use the satellite (DH) - working on local channels but not on satellite. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Do those plugs work when you're plugged in? If so, it may be they are not wired to your inverter (capacity issue)

We had the same odor problem in our 2013 44SL. It smelled like an outhouse. We fully solved the problem. The first issue was the vent was stuck open under the sink and needed to be replaced. That poured black tank gas into the camper We also put on two of the camco cyclone sewer vent on top venting . For some reason the gasses are getting sucked back in on this coach. This was not the first instance for Entegra. Even when you sit still, if it's windy the gasses get sucked back from the roof. This was not an entegra solution. They actually never gave me one but they did acknowledge others have called. Hope this helps. We have zero smell now.

Sorry If I seem dense by asking, but are you saying the cyclones ADDED to the problem, or were they the solution? Thanks, ed

If you're dense, I am too. I was wondering the same thing about the cyclones. We have an weird odor too and I'm just realizing (after reading this thread) what's causing it.

They were the solution. I was not a believer but my rv repair guy told me to do it and it worked. Shocking. He puts them on everything from prevost to pull behinds.

Nope....no power to the plugs whether hooked up to shore power or running on generators or battery.

Comprehensive List

As promised, here is the rundown of what I have experienced with my new 2013 Entegra Anthem of which I took delivery in Mid June. I listed the problems and where we are at in the process of fixing –

1. Upon delivery, I went right to the shop to adjust the A/C belt as the dash air was not blowing cold. Fixed and Entegra reimbursed me for that.
2. Needed to replace the seal on the drivers side back wheel – I did not even waste my time calling for approval – just paid out of pocket
3. The drivers side window had a very loud “cracking” sound while turning or hitting bumps – fixed
4. Dishwasher door did not lock – fixed today by local dishwasher repair guy – had to replace the panel – have had constant problems on home versions of this brand.
5. The Aqua Hot went on the fritz. The high limit thermostat was kicked and this was fixed. I guess you can’t do laundry, 4 kids showers, 2 adults and the dishwasher too close together. We reached its limitations. Has worked since yet with cold mountain water, it only heats up 50 or so degrees from you ground water temp, so don’t be disappointed if you camp in Colorado that it only gets luke warm. Other than that, it does work great.
6. Could not get the coach interior to cool down on hot summer days. The venting system seemed inferior. I took the first and third ceiling mirrors off so we can direct vent and that solved the problem. Aesthetically not as nice, but we are cool now. When you drive down the road, the vents are hidden above the slides and provided no cooling at all. With a big family, that was not acceptable.
7. The passenger entry door howled down the road when we first got it. Could not talk to the passenger when driving. Tech applied a piece of weather stripping to the opening and solved the problem.
8. Have had problems with the stovetop but have not addressed yet.
9. The driver side front slide rollers give off a large metal on metal noise whenever we hit a bump. Have not solved yet – very annoying.
10. The headlights are not installed correctly. In fact, one was barely hanging on. We are waiting for a part from Entegra. It is zip tied on now. They were not calibrated correctly and provided no real help when traveling at night.
11. I outlined the smell problem in a prior post. That was fixed.
12. The a/c vibrates the coach. There is a fix, but have not had a chance to do this one.
13. You know the water issue. (see prior post) will keep you posted.
14. I am dropping off tonight to deal with the front air suspension issues. If you turn the coach off, the left front airs down almost immediately and the coach sits on the tire. Left side stays up. Honestly did not feel comfortable driving down the road, but had to get it home. From what I understand, this is a problem and Entegra and Spartan know and are trying to solve this.
15. The slide that covers that stairs into the coach rattled like crazy – fixed.
16. I don’t think my leveling system is working correctly. Have to prove that but have not had a chance yet.
17. The AV switcher is junky. They could definitely do better.

I have other issues but cannot think of them right now. when i do, i will post.

Other than this list, we enjoy the coach, the product for the money is hard to beat, and the customer service group, especially Jacob, has been very reactive. These will all get worked out. While I was frustrated at first, I realize this kind of stuff happens a lot on new coaches. I hope this helps anyone that is sitting frustrated and looking for a solution. I know some of my experiences will help you. I know that sounds crazy, but with all the problems, we are still the envy of many when we pull into campgrounds. I thought about upgrading, but for this money, I cannot get the same overall experience within several hundred thousand so we are considering a Cornerstone, as I heard the K3 Chassis is awesome. By the way, this is our first ever camper. (never even had a tent)

Finally, I bought from Robin at Orlando RV (I live in the midwest). He was excellent before and after I bought. He took the time to walk me through everything 24/7. He did not abandon me when i did not understand something, which was often. (after the sale was made). I cannot imagine that is the same everywhere. Would recommend highly.

Thanks. Any questions, let me know.

Wow, I would have never guessed.

I might not be an Entgra owner, but I still feel that they will make things right with you.

I'm sure you've got the 1 in a 1000.

On a lighter note: Your fellow owners appreciate you jumping on this grenade.

I have also had some of the issues you describe with my 2013 Cornerstone. It is in the shop again. We purchased in April and have honestly only had it for 3 weeks of that time. It has been in the shop the rest. It really helps to know others issues and the fixes that they have either done themselves or a shop. Like you, I do not want to take my frustrations out in this forum (not with entegra but with motorhome specialist in Alvarado, Texas).
Thanks, Joy

SamD, unless something's changed, Motorhome Specialist isn't the best place to do any work. When I bought mine, they really didn't want to do my warranty work and offered me a greater discount to go elsewhere. Since I was fulltiming, that was fine with me. You might have a "come to Jesus" meeting with them and see where else they'd recommend you take your coach...OR...get the thing fixed in a responsible time and manner!
