Entegra Vision

Remembering the post from awhile back that Entegra was going to start making gassers (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/new-...ra-369374.html), I didn't see this one mentioned. Entegra Vision: https://www.lazydays.com/rvs/?query=...age=1&limit=12. It looks like Thor's work... almost like they took the Hurricane 32, and put an Entegra front cap on it.

The ENTEGRA Vision is essentially a Jayco Alante. They share the exact same floor plans. The only difference is the front cap, and some minor color differences. Likewise the Entegra Emblem is a Jayco Precept.

Not really an Entegra, it is built on the Jayco line with exact same construction and only badged as an Entegra. The two lines (Entegra and rebadged Jaycos) are completely different construction and can’t be compared. Entegra line has the quality hung wall construction, better insulation and a myriad of other high end construction and finish processes that the smaller Jayco line built “Entegras” do not possess. They are not true Entegras but really rebadged Jaycos with some cosmetic differences. All JMHO

I was excited to see an Entegra gasser today for the first time. Then I saw the specs were either a 18k or 21.5k chassis with 19.5” wheels. Then I read it was closely related to the Jayco models. There’s nothing wrong (to me) with the Jayco models, but had hoped that the Entegra would be higher-end.

I think that sums it up pretty well! Long term no one is going to be impressed by a rebadge.
So is Entegra going to be an upscale brand or not. I wonder how many Jayco’s didn’t sell in Hersey because people bought a precieved higher end Entegra.
I don’t believe rebadging fools anyone. It just confuses people.
