Usually good job EXCEPT they use brushes unless you ask them not to.

Don't let their water dry on your coach. It is loaded with minerals and spotted my coach so badly that only compounding and waxing would remove the spots/streaks.

Hit or miss with Blue Beacon. I was generally satisfied until my last, and I do mean last, try. They left the rig swirled and some kind of residue on one side.

I've used Blue Beacon twice, both times the water spots they left created a lot of unnecessary work with rubbing compound and buffer. Water spots are a total pain to remove, so unless the water is filtered and the salt removed, do it yourself where you can rinse it with soft water.

I personally have never used Blue Beacon, but tried once (after a rain storm). It was a 2 hour wait, so I left. After seeing a few coaches that were washed by BB.... and through the sharing of ideas with others here, several of us have put together "on the road" wash systems. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/than...ts-342213.html

I can now wash in a rest area or RV park that will allow me to use my own water,or allows washing, faster than the wait I would have had at Blue Beacon. The wash is always perfect and now spot free with the home assembled DI unit. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/if-y...it-339615.html

DIY washing is not for everyone. There is always the RV resort Mobile Wash services, but I have watched some of them use brushes, which I don't care for.

Have a Blue Beacon 2 miles from my house. They do a fantastic job. The manager actually full times in a 5th wheel. My first visit he told me how he would do things and why since I had a motorhome. Been very pleased.

I have used BB twice with our 2017. The wait was too long, but the coach was so dirty and we were early for a campground arrival time that we stayed in line. Fainly realize the long wait was because I was near the State line into Florida and many of the trailers had to have a wash out cleaning for citrus before entering Florida.

I would use them again, but would request that they not use brushes. Now the good news was that we found a independent mobile guy there that offered to polish all six rims for 75 dollars. Ended up doing them in an hour and the job was surprisingly good. He knew the folks at the BB and told them to do an acid wash on the rims which was no extra charge to us. The rims really looked white when we came out of the wash and I was a touch concerned, but he polished them up quite nicely.

O, if you have a toad attached they will wash that too. The first time they said they would just do it no charge, the second time they were going to charge me until I said that that was usually thrown in free. They give an FMCA discount and all told with the Rain EX and tire dressing it was 43.00 dollars.

BTW, there are some BB's that are labelled as motorhome friendly. Haven't been to one of those yet.

I see by your signature that you have a Winnebago. My older Winnebago I could wash that MH with a push broom and it looked perfect. My Entegra has very soft paint that will scratch and swirl if the softest method of washing is not used. Can't say I am pleased about that.

I used the same brush I had used on my previous MH for years to wash the Entegra when I first brought it home. Big mistake, that lead to my first polish and wax job to remove the scratches.

Don't let them RainX your coach! It leaves streaks all over.

We had the exact same problem. Coach was a mess after they finished and took forever to get looking decent again. Chuck

I do not recommend ANY of the truck wash facilities....water spotting cannot be avoided. They do not use deionized rinse and will cost you because you will have to buff out before waxing.

Different strokes for different folks...with our mostly black rig with lots of chrome that has no swirls on it and paint is virtually perfect... use blue beacon near our house after every trip. Have also used several others and...LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-NEVER allow brushes
-Always get Rainex
-Always get tires done
-Usually dry as much as we can and can reach before we leave
-Usually a lineup, be prepared
Just our two cents!
