Entry door locking arms

I'm having an issue with my 2015 entry door. It's getting harder to close fully and seems to be hanging up on the steel arms at the top of the door.....you know the ones that almost rip off the coach when the wind catches the door....I believe I've seen discussion on this , but the "search" function is not cooperating for me. Has anyone repaired or replaced the mechanism?

If you decide that you need a new hinge, PTL sells these for their doors.

Hold Open Mechanisms - PTL Engineering

Is that the exact OEM arm installed from the factory?

On my 14 I removed it, the screw holes in the door and gotten enlarged, reinstalled it with larger screws. Took a ball-pen hammer and tighten the large rivit, it was really sagging. Also closed the locking tab with the same hammer while it was in the vise. Put it back up and it was like new. Took about 5 minutes and saved $85 for a new one which is nuts for what it is. They wear out, but they are easily fixed with a bigger hammer.

PTL Engineering is the OEM so I would assume that is what they are selling there in one of the three or four they have listed.

If it was a $20 items which would still be high, I wouldn't mind replacing it. But $85 for two straps of steel riveted together is something I won't contribute to to. My 19 was sagging on delivery, enclosed a video to Entegra to get it replace. The one installed new on the 19 looked like my old Classic before repair. Moral "you can make it better than new"

I threw my locking hinge away and installed a 25 LB gas strut, couldn't be happier. Plus it was WAY cheaper than the over priced OEM hinge. Been three years and still working great.
