I got the ladder and camera out, minutes before six inches of lake effect snow.

As you can see, I lost one of my antennas. Not sure which is which as they both are different. It was cold out and I was going through the gate at Fort Lee and just touched a low hanging branch and it fell off. The guard handed it back to me. I'll look for a replacement with a spring. Does anyone know what these these antennas go to?

What are those small round caps in the back left and mid right? Vents for the washer and rear bathroom?

What is interesting is the awning topper is open a little when the slides are fully closed. I always make sure to brush the show off the topper.

The broken one is for the CB, other one for OTA radio. Those caps are on the grey and black water vents.

Holly smokes! That caulking looks as bad as the TS did. Lots of places for a bubble or a crack for leaks to start. Thanks for those great pictures, now I have an idea what I will be working with. I am almost sure the 2 inch tape will not be wide enough with the seams that high.

The vent caps you show in your photos is like the one I just had to replace. Having the caulking covered with Enternabond, the caulking was soft as new and peeled right off.

On my TS the shorter of the two antennas is the AM/FM radio antennas. If it is the same on yours, Walmart has universal replacements that will screw right on. An easy test..if the dash radio does not have any AM stations, it was that antenna, if it does, CB antenna.

Thanks for the great photos.

I had a leak around my chimney on the S&B house. I used Eterna Bond, sticking it to the shingles and the bricks. Five years later the guys installing new shingles complained mightily about how hard it was to get off. It did fix the leak though.

With the cold in NY and across the country, I'll wait till spring before I can inspect seams and apply the tape. Besides, the kevlar in my knees and the cold don't work well together. I'll be in Florida at the end of the month but I need the time to do it right. I've been told by the DW that I obsess over my projects but I say I'm just thorough. ;o)

On the CB antenna, where should I look for the other end for CB hookup?

I like the way the awning topper forms a cover over the top of the slide to keep rain and snow from blowing in on top of the slide when it is closed. Nice design.

Also looks like there is already a nice straight line to follow for installing Enternabond on the inside of the caulking.

Can you tell I have really been studying your photos

I'll chime in here a little about Eternabond from my own experience.

Long term success with Eternabond has two requirements:
1. The surface must be clean and especially free of any loose dirt or particles. Eternabond sticks very very well, but if iit is stuck to a layer of loose dirt or caulking, it will peel off with the dirt!
2. The sealant on Eternabond is pressure activated. The first time I used Eternabond for myself, I pooh poohed the idea of buying the Eternabond roller. I figured I could use finger pressure etc. to press the Eternabond in place. Well, let's say I got the job done, but I should have had the roller, or something like it to get good pressure when the tape was applied. I have some wrinkles and bubbles which look poor, but fortunately are in a spot where they still won't leak.
I now have a roller and use it religiously when applying Eternabond.

If you NEVER want to worry with roof seals again, do three things.
1. Remove the old caulking, and clean the area very well.
2. Lay down a new layer of self leveling Dicor sealant. Lay it on as smooth as possible to avoid places for water to puddle if possible.
3.After a day or two, the Dicor will cure a little and "skin over". Then apply 4" or 6" Eternabond over the whole thing.
Job done!

I read your post again and you mentioned the security guard gave you the antenna that fell off back. After loosing two on my MH I put the last one on with "lock tight" that solved the problem.

The design would be much better if the reels were attached to the coach instead of the topper (as is done with the King Aire...specifically so the topper would drain rain and snow better. As it is, the reel tends to act as a dam (as it is not sloped) and water and snow will eventually stretch the fabric, increasingly causing the toppers to sag. And they cannot be rest retched, just replaced:(

Here are the photos of my roof.

Not sure if the 2 or 3 inch will be wide enough.

Wow! Looks like Entegra uses the local grammar school on field trips to apply our roof sealant! Doesn't reflect any attempt at being neat or uniform. No wonder some of us have leaks!

I have yet to see my roof!
