Faint Beep & Shock from Door Handle and Keypad?

Anyone else experienced a very faint beeeeep and/or a slight shock (like static) when touching the outside door handle or the outside keypad handle?

On several occasions both DW and I have experienced this - doesn't happen all the time but sometimes several times in a row. Has happened mostly when door is unlocked, but I think it's happened when door locked and alarm set as well. Also think it's happened when touching screen door with main door standing open.

Need to call my pre-delivery pro with this one and if he doesn't know I'll followup with CS, but thought I'd check here as well.

Let's hope it's not a hot skin situation, but something to check out. Can be very dangerous when damp outside.

Our 15 Aspire has done the same thing a few times, but not often enough to figure out why. If you find out what it is please post. Good luck.

Our 13 Aspire does the same thing, never been able to figure it out.

Ours does it as well. I think it is static electricity. DW does it more than me, I call her sparky.

Probably static and you will notice it more when the humidity is low.
