Fiberglass Roof

New coach.....and want to keep it that way.....
What do you guys use to clean and maintain your fiberglass roof.
Your preference on different cleaners and uv protection products?
Thanks for your input and help.
Anthony.

I wash and seal the roof with ZEP floor sealer sold at Lowe's once a year.

The guys that came and did a wash and wax for me [ I use them mostly for the wax, wife and I wash it ] cleaned the roof with car wash and a soft brush and because the roof is pretty smooth / slick they used 303 spray wax...

I use 303, but it is not a wax. It is a protectant, which is very important. It has a UV inhibitor that protects the surface from the damaging UV rays of the sun. A wax I don't want, because it makes the roof slippery and dangerous to walk on and because waxes build up over time creating problems.

I tried the ZEP Floor Sealer, but it yellowed over time. Might try the 303 next.

At the dollar store you can buy a product called totally awesome. I dilute that with soapy water and wash the deck with a soft brush and a Ryobi power washer. I used deionized water from my CR spotless rinse through the process.

Do the same without the DI, then spread ZEP floor sealer when finished. It's not slippery and UV protects the roof for about a year with no white streaks coming down the sides. I use to use Mop & Glow but ZEP last longer.

Why without the DI? I use it to prevent spots from run off

I usually wash the roof first before doing the coach. The coach will be washed and DI rinsed. The few spot on the roof the ZEP takes care of, any others nobody is going to see.
