Finally found inside cabinet motion sensor LED lights

It was posted on the Mod post awhile back about inside cabinets LED motion lights found at Walmart. Rite Lite 5-LED Puck Light with Sensor: Automotive : Walmart.com However they are not in my area stores and I have been looking everywhere for them.

While at Harbor Freight today they have the same brand motion sensor cabinets lights on sale for $12.49 for a package of three. These are great for those dark cabinets and come on when the door is open. Pack of 3 Wireless LED Puck Lights

To make the installation easy, they attach with Velcro included, no tools required.

But it sure make it easier to see in the back of dark cabinets and the corner of the closet. The single light in our TS clothes closet leaves a lot to be desired and the Entegra has the same light. The RBQ has a smaller door leaving the closet a little on the dark side. These lights do help, I had the tap lights in the TS, now the new light are automatic.... Nice and the LED's are much brighter.

These are pretty neat and cheap at home depot. I can think of more than a few places to use these.

Yes they do. Battery operated and attach with Velcro or two sided sticky tape, both included.

Ones I saw said "light" sensor!

I just went through the process of installing micro switches and segments of LED strips to light my most used cabinets, and SO loves them. Just tied into nearby 12 wires.

I have the ones with the motion sensors but I didn't use the sensors for fear the motion of the clothing would turn them on when driving, burning out the batteries. Anyone have experience with this?

Also, the Velcro would not stick reliably to the ceiling fabric in the heat, and I had to put mine up with a special, heat resistant Velcro.

Nice that the sensors can be turned off while traveling, then turned back on when parked. I will leave mine on and see what happens. I played with one last night and they sure lit up our hall closet in the S&B. Dusty56 shared a great idea with these. They are sure going to beat my old cabinet/closet lights.
