Finally on our way to Des Moines

We've been told that our coach will be in Des Moines tomorrow, but will take several days for prep. But, we are leaving Pittsburgh tomorrow to meet up with it and look it over. It is a 2 day drive for us. I'm assuming there will not be room on the lot for us, so does anyone know of a decent rv park nearby?

The closest RV Park to the dealership will be Adventureland Resort Campground in Altoona. Pretty nice park. You will have to check in at the Adventureland Resort Motel that is right at the entrance to the campground. The office at the campground is closed for the off-season. The off-season rate is $25.

It is located just off of I-80 and easy to get to. We live about 1/2 mile from the campground as the crow flies. There are all of the services available at the exit when you get off of I-80 to go to the campground. The campground is about a half mile from the exit and I-80.

The coordinates for the parking lot out in front of the motel office where you would register are 41* 39' 28.51" N 93* 29' 43.28" W.

Griff's Valley View RV Park will probably be full as others have said. Griff's caters to long-term residents and there are plenty of them as the new Facebook data center is under construction just a mile or so from them. If you can get a spot with them here is their website:
