Here is what we use hooked to a 20# bottle. The pit came with the red lava rocks, we added the fireplace logs, the higher you stack them, the higher the fire.........as the flames wonder up through the pile..... It came with a heavy duty cover, so when we are done with it, after cooled down, put it on a slide tray.........gone. On damp nights we use it under the awning........warms it up nicely under it........
Where did you find the extra logs? I searched but couldn't find them. I have a stainless steel portable firepit. Yours looks great!

I was able to get a replacement log for my S&B fireplace at a Fireplace store that sold gas fireplaces. I dropped one and broke it while clean the black soot off of them outside. I guess it's common they had a bunch of them. This was in Denver, I might have a problem in FL.

I have one I got oh, about 8 years ago (or was it 9) a Pit-2-GO, very nice unit, kind of heavy, folds flat for storage and carrying, ash pit if you set it up on grass the grass is not burned/destroyed.. Alas, I no longer use it.
I also, from time to time, have had a regular ring from Wal-Mart, gave that one away.
Campgrounds are dropping them because of the new "Safety" standard, I will not comment on.
