Anyone having trouble with the dishwasher opening while driving? If so, would appreciate any advice on resolutions.

Same here.

The door has to be locked before traveling. DW wrote the instruction down out of the owners manual and has it on her departure list. I can't hear the beeps, so I don't mess with it.

There is a lock feature. Out of the box it's set to manual - push the lock button to lock. Optionally it can be configured to automatically lock when closed (power on button to unlock). I have ours set to auto lock.

Agree, fast and eco uses not much water.

It must be the heated dry cycle that adds so much time. Really miss ours - new project over the winter is to install the Fisher Paykel in this rig.

The hardest part is listening for the three beeps when you want to lock the door for travel. The dishwasher in our Allegro Bus was easy to hear because the switch panel was on the outside plus Tiffin built the washer cabinet out of square so one corner stuck out a bit but the beeps in this washer are harder to hear. Everything is quieter in an Entegra - even the dishwasher.
We have run ours while traveling, don't see a problem in doing so. Just have to remember to not turn off the water pump. Have auto lock set so it does not unlock at end of cycle.

Mimsie to lock the dishwasher in the 2017 hold button on remote. You will hear 1 beep. Keep holding till you hear the third set of beeps. It is then locked and ready to travel. To unlock take remote and press once.

The first time I came across F&P appliances was when the VIP 747 I was working on had the two-section dishwasher. I figured if it was installed in a $400M airplane it would be plenty good enough for home.

The builder planned to install a GE unit, wouldn't do an F&P, so we compromised on a very quiet Bosch unit.
