Fixture Eats Light Bulbs

Can anyone recommend a good replacement light bulb for the under counter lights? I've tried several and they all only last a couple of months max. The LED lights I found the wire leg inserts were too thin and wouldn't stay lit.

And apparently my counter is a mess...I didn't even notice until I saw this pic!

If the bulbs are halogen (I think they are) oils off fingers will cause them to burn out. Try putting them in with gloves and see if that helps.

I never touch them when installing. Usually they come with a nice cover that I can just slide off after installing.

So much trapped heat, no wonder they fail.

Try another supplier of led's. Superbright comes to mind. I have changed out close to 30 lights in my RV. You may need to use a needle to squeeze the contacts tighter in the fixtures .

M4 now has the two contact bulbs with thicker wires. I bought some 60 off Amazon to do my rig. I got the 10 watt replacements but need 20's for the bedroom ceiling.

They are 20 bucks a pop but Eco-LED makes a nice round disc with leads that go off to the side, worked in my puck lights, I got "Cool White" which is nice and white not the yellower "Warm White".

You can take your luck on E-bay/Amazon, I have a lot of LED's from those sources, Some are good, some not so good, but the ECO-LED's are known to work, expensive but work.
