Fleetguard Final Charge

Have a 2015 Anthem with the Spartan/Cummins combo. On way to FL with the brand new rig I discovered a small coolant leak showing up around the CAC/Radiator area. Coolant level is below the site glass on the tank. My question is where can I get the Fleetguard Final Charge fluid as stickered on the coolant tank. Has anyone found a good source for small quanities, not a 55 gal. drum please. I would like to get a couple of gallons of the full strength if possible. This stuff seems to be hard to find. Thanks for any help.

Try the local Wallmart. I just got 2 gallons from the local store. Might not be available at all Wallmarts.

Check you bottom hose clamp where the resivor hose runs to radiator...on our new rig was super loose slow drip there and others have been too...still adding some without leak...good thing Walmart stocks it and they are everywhere.

Not to split hairs but Fleetguard's OAT coolant is Fleetguard ES Compleat OAT and Final Charge OAT coolant is made by Peak. I believe your best source for Fleetguard ES Compleat OAT would be a Cummins parts counter. I've seen Final Charge at Tractor Supply, O'Reilly's, and some Walmart and Flying J.

Not to beat a dead pony but I've been down the road you are on. If you add an incompatable coolant to your system you will be faced with a $500 flush and fill to retain your warranty because Entegra and Spartan don't really write about what is required and you are broken down after hours. I wrote about this in April called....

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/head...nt-204999.html

The bottom line....If you lose coolant....fix the leak.....
1. Your system is filled with Peak Final Charge 50/50 premixed coolant (red) available at some Walmarts and auto stores $11.95/gal
2. The coolant tank says a compatable substitute is Fleetguard Complete ES OAT (pink) available at Cummins.
3. If you can't find either,Spartan says to add distilled water but then your dillution will be wrong and you'll be forced to drain and refill. It takes 16 gals.
4. If you add anything else, try to use a SCA coolant but you'll have to pay to get flushed and refilled like I did ($500).

I found that too. The Super Store by my house does not carry it, but the one 10 miles away, that is in an area of a lot of truckers has two shelves of it.

When I went looking for it I found it at the local NAPA store, in a small town in central WI. It's more available than I thought it would be.

Not to derail the post but my recommendation after having my system flushed and refilled at Cummins with the fluid they stock, Fleetguard Compleat ES (pink). I would insist or make a trip to Walmart/OReilley on my own, to get the Peak Final Charge 50/50 coolant as it is much easier to determine the level via the sight glass in the coolant resevoir than the nearly invisible Fleetguard (pink) coolant.....The only way I can determine the coolant level now is by opening the top of the resevoir (not possible when hit) and using a dipstick. Perhaps that's why Spartan used the (red) Final Charge.
