Floor Heat
Can anyone tell me how to use the floor heat in our Aspire? We have the 3 zone thermostat above the toilet in the bathroom cabinet as well as a plastic wall mounted thermostat right above the toilet.
We think we are supposed to turn zone 2 to off then turn on the wall mounted thermostat. Will it work with just electric or do we need to run the propane as well? Either way, it's not currently working.

Thanks for asking that question. I have a 2014 Aspire and was getting ready to ask the same question. However, do not a thermostat over the toilet. While on the subject of heat, how does the basement thermostat work? Here in Texas, probable won't need it till December but will need to be ready. Thanks

The basement thermostat is right next to your water filters and house water pump it looks like this:
To turn it on press hard on the white switch on the top -- push left for on and right for off
Adjust the temperature level with the slide on the bottom of the unit
Works well to keep everything cozy in the basement.
Will also assist with the main floor heating in the coach when it's really cold outside.

Curt I really appreciate the effort to show, but mine is a bit different. I did finally figure it out. I have a thermostat like the one in your basement in addition to run the floor heat. Zone 2 off and this one on warmed up the floor.

On my aspire you only need the aquahot burner on and the little white box on. No need to turn on any zones on the thermostat.

Coachmanrvr, you have the old system, so I'll refer you to Customer Service.

Plozano,
You have several heating options:
Heat pump (electric on thermostat) overhead.
Aqua Hot (gas setting on thermostat)
.....electric button activates the electrode in the AH system.
......burner switch activates the gas burner in the AH
You can run the AH on just the electrode, just gas, or a combination of both, but only use electric if on shore power.
Now to your floor heat: set thermostat for heat with the slide switch. Select zone 2 & set it for gas. Set the temperature to about 80, and then turn on either the electrode or burner or both. Electrode is much slower that burner, but fastest is to turn on both switches.
Remember, only use electric if you're plugged in to electric shore power. Fortunately, you have options.
Don't ignore your basement heat. Turn it on and clear the registers in basement for circulation. If really cold , you'll need it!

With the old system, if the little white thermostat in the toilet is asking for heat, the pumps for the aqua hot anti freeze run. Electric will heat the floor very slowly and not very hot. Both will heat it faster and keep it warmer. But at the end of the day, the little white thermostat is looking at the air temp in the toilet.
