Floor heat and setting the clock on VT

Hi folks,
I have two questions; How do you change the clock on the VT. It's reading central time, I am on the east coast. It reads "set by gps"

Also, I can't turn the floor heat up to the max. When I try, it backs off one bar.

Thanks in advance

Press on the ? Button until the Vegatouch splash screen appears. It takes 5 to 10 seconds. Touch all 4 corners of the Vegatouch picture, one after the other. If you do it right you’ll see some additional buttons on the left. Touch Other. Use the plus and minus keys to adjust time. Press Close when done. This is only a temporary adjustment; the GPS should set the correct time once you’re moving again.

Call Firefly about the floor heat. I had the same problem and needed an updated monitor to fix it. I have a 17 but with the 18 Vegatouch software.

Do you have the gps set so it will switch to the time zone you're in? If so it should change the VT time to correct time zone.

My floor heat does the same. Jerry at Firefly said he would find out if that was a common problem and let me know. So far...no call back. Its on my AIR list for July.

You need to connect your X-Cite to the Vega Touch wirelessly through the pep wave router. If you look at the router you'll note it's id (mine starts w/ a J) and password. I just went to my nav screen and clicked on the wifi symbol. It searched for wireless connections, pick your router and follow the prompts. I know there's another way to connect through the Vega Touch screen but I've always used the Nav screen. The GPS will then keep your VT updated.

The floor heat issue mentioned is a known bug and has been fixed. An update to the latest 18 version would resolve this.

Please post what you find out. No need for 20 of us to contact Firefly.

Its probably immodest to quote yourself, but...I got an email from Jerry. Fix can be sent to a windows computer with ethernet capability. I'm waiting for his callback to get it going.
