If it is the 1/2 bath you are referring to I would suspect there is a larger than necessary opening at the back of the toilet where the water line and electrics come up from the floor. You will also find your inline fuse back there if you ever have to pull it to reset your toilet so that it will flush.
This area is right above the wet bay and the frogs could be coming up around the sewer hose and climbing up from there. If you insulate the area with spray foam make sure you still have access to the fuse.
