Front door noise fix

If your door is real noisy my fix and I suspect anyone with a slight whistle coming from the door area at 60 or 70 mph., when a bit of a cross wind if you hear air but cant pinpoint it its prolly around the black frame that holds the big window in the entrance door a small bead of clear silicone around the bezel and no more noise.

Johnny, Is it possible to post a picture of that exact location. I know others would be very interested.

I just caulked the D/S window and I will look at the door window as well. Thanks!! Now if I could just fix my 1/2 inch gap at the top of the door with caulking maybe I could get rid of the rest of my wind noises.

Thx Chuck I went all the way around the window with blue tape one day when driving and that annoying whistle went away even in the stiffest winds, so when i got back i put clear caulking all the way around the window. We could not figure out where it was coming from til now.

Chuck gotta be some solid rubber weather stripping that will plug it up along with caulking it after. I dont need to tell you to get vreative, its a given.

I have sealed so many window seams that have caused wind noise that Wineman and I bought a tube of brown silicone caulking to match. It matches the brown paint around our windows and hard to see against the black window frames. Easy to apply and easy to clean off if you make a mistake.

Our coach is so noisy it makes us crazy. It is so bad that we called customer service while we were driving down the road. Entegra's response was "Your not driving one of our coaches". Sorry Entegra but yes we are. A 2013 Anthem. We have had the door and windows worked on multiple times. We even had the windshield replaced. Having a glass specialist replace the windshield got rid of that noise. But the noise from the door and drivers/passengers windows continue. The glass is actually loose and rattling in the framework. We have had the factory and multiple repair shops work on them with no improvement. We even asked to have them replaced while we were at the factory. They didn't do it at the factory so it will have to be done when our coach has to be repainted in March. Our paint is peeling off in strips.
