Front Windshield Day Shades Wont Retract

On our recent trip out west a couple of stops ago our toll and both windshield day shade stopped retracting when pressing all day shades up. Everything else in the main area goes up. The only way to retract them is the buttons left of driver. Any ideas?

Turn 12v power off with the switch at the front door or drivers console. Let it sit for 30 second before turning back on. If it does not reset, could the shade motor going bad.

Make sure the key is off, front shades don't work if engine is running. Mike

Mike, he says it is the DAY shades. They should work with engine running.

The expected ship date is 6/29. I am expecting delivery the middle of July.

Apparently these worked ok on the ALL UP or ALL DOWN in the past. But on my DS, they are intentionally left off that circuit and can only be worked by the driver switches. I think this is a safety thing to keep a child in the back from working these shades while you’re driving.

after resetting the red main switch at the door it now works as it had been. ALL day shades up raises everything in main area including windshield.
