I had my radiator replaced by Cummins Southern Plains in Houston. The radiator has to come in by truck (as it comes in with a cooler unit also), and that took 3 or 4 days from Michigan to Texas. Then the repair took about 8 hours of shop time. My memory is that Cummins said Spartan pays them 7 or 8 hours of shop time to do the swap, but it usually takes them slightly longer to do it right, but they eat the overage. Now, I believe that a big part of this is that they have to cut the channel that the radiator sits in out of the coach. I think mine was cut out with a torch or saw. Then they have to weld it back in after the new radiator is installed. There have been several past threads on radiators that you can find that will give you numbers close to mine, 4 days is complete baloney in my opinion. You remember the thread of the Floridian that got to west Texas on his first trip and wife said she would not get on coach again after their frustration with the radiator problem? Maybe May 2015. Lots of information in that thread. Them telling you it is a 4 day job is pure baloney from someone who does not know what they are talking about IMHO. Day and a half max.
