As I read the Entegra posts it seems that most,, not all,, are not fulltimers. Which holds true with any brand I'm sure. But I have to wonder just how fulltime proven the Entegra's are.

Well, ten months and going strong. I've had a few issues, and I have been what you might call "handy", but I don't know that my problems have been any more or less than those that are less than full time....and I think I shaken my coach down pretty well.

First three months like most everyone else. Once that punch list taken care of, I have one shade motor (I replaced CS-provided motor), a transfer switch (mobile tech repaired), a smart board on one Coleman (I replaced with a part shipped) and a compressor on the another Coleman AC on the coach (mobile replacement tech). I had a small water leak that turned out to be condensation on a copper tube coming from the compressor not being fully covered and dripping in the wrong place (I found and fixed). Squeak in slide (Entegra CS fixed in a quick stop in Middlebury).

I had a leak on the front seal of the Cummins engine (one day at the Cummins shop) and a leak on the seal of the tag axle (one day at the Spartan shop).

That's the sum total of everything. I love my Entegra

We are full-timers and this Entegra Aspire is the first coach since we started in 2008 that has a washer-dryer and a residential refrigerator so we feel like we have moved up town. You can full-time in about anything but it is easier in something like this.

Any decent sized coach can be equipped with enough amentities to make it seem like home. I've seen some people full timing in some pretty inexpensive RVs that I wouldn't consider full timing in.

In my opinion, what really makes for a coach that is best for full timing in is the quality of construction. RVs always need some sort of attention and maintenance. Even high end stick homes dont' last forever without issues and Rvs aren't generally built to that level. But a well built RV won't have screws falling out, creaking and groaning from minimal structural support, cabinets that fall apart, etc. It will also be warmer in cool weather and cooler in summer due to better insulation. I feel that Entegra rises to the top in all of those areas. We don't full time yet but have spent 4 months in our Allegro Bus this year alone. I've spent enough time in Entegras in various conditions to be familiar with them. We find ourselves wishing our bus was built like an Entegra many times when dealing with cold drafts in cool weather, warm interiors in warm weather, inconsistent temperatures due to thermostat sensors that is inaccurately installed, hot cabinets in sunny weather due to minimal insulation, and the various creaks and groans caused by a structure that isn't as robust as Entegras.

We would be very happy fulltiming in an Entegra but they have to get the floor plans right, which is one area where Tiffin excels. There's progress in that direction and fortunately we're not ready to make a move yet anyway so we are happy to wait.

Mark has nailed it. We fultime in our TS, but then they are much like Entegra's, well built and well insulated.

We are fulltime and in agreement with Cruzer. We have had a Tiffin '07 & a Tiffin '11 Bus. We feel the fit and finish, insulation and overall build quality of the Entegra Anthem is superior over the Bus. Tiffin has a beautiful coach, a variety of floor plans and great utilization of space, but for comfort, quietness and ride we feel the Entegra excels. We have found that the 44DLQ has everything we need for full timing. We had the bath and1/2 in the last bus, but found we were much happier with the center bath and the extra room in the living and bedroom areas in the Anthem. With a beautiful cabinet added in the bathroom by Precision, we have found storage up and below takes care of our needs. We're loving our coach and hoping to take a four month trip to the Pacific Northwest in late spring.
