I called Entegra CS today. Rep. said he recently had a call from a dealer on a 2016 having same problem and he will get back to me. I have a 2016 and just noticed it.
Anyone else experience this? Could this be just a 2016 problem?

Update on ceiling fans running while furnace is on. There is no mechanical problem, it's a 2016 upgrade to the heating system so I'm told. The new system is now able to mix exterior air via roof fans with the Aqua-Hot furnace heat if desired.
After I reported this to CS the other day, Jacob/CS and others researched it and thought they had a solution. They called me back and had me try it and it worked. It's user operator error because it's not explained very well if at all. They were glad to have a solution as they said there will be many calls from 2016 owners on this.
Basically what it is, when you select Aqua-Hot furnace gas heat you are given the options of blank, "nothing" in upper left corner of the thermostat screen,or High, Low. The High/Low means exterior fan speeds not heat. Call Support! That's my understanding. I'll take an operator error over the real thing any day. FWIW.
