Fuse box lights

Why do some fuzes in the fuze box have an adjacent light illuminated and some don't? What is the significance of a red or green light? To me red means a fault. The light next to the 5A fuse I. Slot #59 is red, I can't find list of fuze labels.

Duh! All I had to do is open the other door. Turned off the awning lights and the red light went off! The awnings were closed so I assume it was showing the light switch was activated but with awnings closed the light was disabled.

Green must be "on" and working.

Learned the hard way-those awning lights are darn hard to see in bright sunlight. Inadvertently left mine on when placing in storage. Came back three weeks later; batteries were dead.

That's what I thought but when I turned the awning lights off the red light went out.

Red = "time to replace the fuse" is correct! I ran the awnings out tonight and turned on the lights without result, replaced the 5A fuse and they work.

Not a wasted day, I learned something!

You are correct, Vance, Red - replace fuse. Green is operating that functionality and power is OK. I think I might ask the question of Girard of why a fuse would pop so quickly, but I am still waiting for an answer from my first question to Girard...three months later!

As did I. Another nice upgrade from the TS, a lighted fuse panel. Sure beats trying to read the tiny print to find which fuse was for the awning lights.

For some unknown reason the first year with the TS I replaced a few fuses, after that first year I never replaced another one. I wrote it off as cheap fuses bought in bulk at the factory.
