Generator slide

I find it impossible to slide my 12.5 KW generator out to check oil and coolant. I'm no wimp but am not going to rupture a disc trying to pull it out. Yes, I release both catches as the manual shows but still can't get the thing to budge. Perhaps the rails are damaged or frozen up?

If the latches are truly releasing, try either lowering your front or raising your rear somewhat to get an assist from gravity.

In addition to what Steve said, spraying the heck out of the tracks with Silicone spray helps as well. I have had my old MH where the slides have been cruded up with road dirt and sprayed the heck out of the tracks with Parts & Brake cleaner, then silicone spray.
