Going to LD on Tuesday to pick up the Anthem

Got the email yesterday, that our Anthem will be ready Friday, but Dr. appointments for my Mom won't let us go up until Tuesday 3/25.

The way Joyce and Dana Smith @ LD watched and pushed this I am expecting it will be a perfect delivery this time. I cannot say enough good about both of them with their communication with me and the daily reports.

Noel, if you are still there it will be out of the detail shop for undercoating on Friday.

Hopefully new, much nicer pictures will be posted this time By this time next week I hope to be busy doing a lot of mods and installing the EMS.

You should plan a couple days there making sure everything works as expected. All buyers should do this regardless of where they are buying.

Good news and best of luck. Just a quick question, why is it going to get undercoating? My salesman told me that Entegra added a bay last year and now do that for all coaches.

Great to hear and I'd bet this time you will be leaving with a grin on you face as wide as the coach. I, (no-no all of us) are looking forward for you to remove that "finished, waiting delivery" from you signature.

Enjoy that new Entegra, you deserve it.

I'll second on checking everything out before you leave. Don't take their word for it that it's ready to go. My neighbor just bought new from LD and as soon as he got here he hooked up the water, turned it on, and flooded his bathroom and kitchen. Obviously no one gave it a water check. Then he found his generator wouldn't run, and his washer wouldn't run either. To say the least he went ballistic. He said he was assured everything was good to go, and swore he'll never go back to LD for anything. He did talk them into sending out a tech to fix the water problem, another one to check the washer, and he'll be spending 2 days at a Cummins place to fix his genny. Just a few words to the wise.

We have already spent 2 days in the coach and left it with the dealer. We will spend at least 2 days this time to make sure all of the corrective work was completed. Good advise, all purchasers of a new MH should do that, if not, you could bring a real surprise home and not the kind you were expecting.

Covered with salt upon deliver. That was the term LD used in their email to me yesterday. Maybe they saw some spots that were missed and showed signs of rust?

I bought a quart of Salt Away at West Marine for my delivery and may not need it. I will crawl underneath it next week to check but I think I lucked out and the roads were dry the past few days and may have escaped.

Picked our 44B up on the 28th. Had the dealer put it on the rack so I could walk under it and found no evidence of salt. Watched them wash it real good after the inspection just to make certain. Hopefully you will be fine "saltwise" as well as the build - few if any issues. Good luck.

Noel, if you are still there it will be out of the detail shop for undercoating on Friday.

I'm still here. Probably will be until April 2nd. Look us up. Noel
