Good News, Bad News

I posted a few days ago how greatful we were to this forum for helping us figure out why we had no Zone 1 heat and no floor heat. We had the unfortunate and all too common major Aqua hose kink(really more of a complete fold) Cut all the zip ties freeing the hose to be pulled around straight and almost instant heat to Zone 1 registers. Apparently we were not so lucky with the floor heat , woke up the next morning(+8 hours) and hardly anything warm on floor tiles with temp(set to 83)! Feels like a few were kinda warm, but pretty much nada! Thinking another kink somewhere???? But where??? Open to suggestions where to look?
Thanks as usual

If it's like mine check under the far right bottom drawer in the kitchen cabinets. Pull the drawer all the way out and you can see the supply &return hoses. Trace them out and see what you find.

Ok Doug,,here's my thoughts. We have a DEQ as well. You got the first kink under the kitchen. The floor heat is zone 2. We had all sorts of problems with zone 2 for over a year....until I realized I could not find the zone two sensor. Turned out the sensor was never brought up and installed and was wrapped up neat the AH. Made sense why my AC in zone 2 never went off and my heat never came on! It is now installed on the side of the hutch. Can you find yours? I have never found the floor to be totally toasty,,,,more like spotty warm. We are in freezing temps right now and the worst is the bathroom,,,which is really cold with no way to warm it up.

Corey -- you bring up a great point. I asked this question on the forum a few months ago -- but never got an answer.

Where is your zone 2 sensor located? Do you have a photo? I have looked for it over the past 12 months and cannot find my zone 2 sensor.

Please help me solve the mystery of zone 2...

Curt

Thanks Corey -- I will ask CS where my sensor is "supposed to be mounted" in a 44U.

It doesn't seem that I am getting heat from the vent in the wet bay. Also recently the kitchen counter will not extend completely. Could the culprit be a problem with the hoses interfering with the kitchen counter. This is an Anthem DEQ.

If the hoses were kinked zone one wouldn't work either. I thought the vent in the wet bay is just a pass through from the AH bay...no?

It would be nice to have a flow diagram for the entire AH system in the Entegra.

Does anyone have such a drawing?

Curt

Corey, not too sure. I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and can't physically check. The first and only time I used the aqua hot burners for heat last week I sure did have the coach extremely warm. I guess I will wait until I get to LD and put it on my list.

Thanks Corey...Found the sensor by the hutch cabinet...if the experience we had with the floors the other night is the best they can be...yikes really lame! We had heated floors in our old Country Coach and they would roast you out in a few hours. Not ok like this...
