Half bath sink smells like sulfur
A friend with a 2018 Entegra Aspire W floor plan told me if he uses the sink in the half bath the water comes out smelling like sulfur
Back bath and kitchen sink water smells fine it is only the half bath and he said it takes a few minutes running the water for the smell to go away. Any ideas?

Are you sure the smell isn't coming from the sink drain? If so, the p-trap may just need some cleaning as a build up of organic matter can cause odors. Running water down the drain can stir up odors.

They can check the filters, but will likely need to Disinfection Water System if the filter are fine. Attached the the Aqua-Hot instructions.
A quick search will give you description on what need to be done.

Has the water lines every been sanitized with bleach?
There is a studor vent valve under the sink, they are know to stick causing an odor, but that is usually a black tank odor.
I had a water softener that needed flushing that caused that, as said before, replace the water filter, backflush the water softener if he is using one.
There was a long post not to long ago with the same subject, lots of other causes were discussed.

The odd thing about his problem is it is only one sink in the whole coach that has this smell. He said if he lets the water run in the sink for 5 minutes or so the smell will go away. Very strange as I would think if it were a water line or filter that all sinks would have that smell
I will pass on the info everyone gave to him and have him do some checking

Sulfur smells are usually caused by iron-eating bacteria in untreated well water. Sanitizing the system should take care of it.

Look for any galvanized fittings in the system.
I had a boat shower that had galvanized couplings at the control valve. Smelled every use.

I'm following this thread out of interest.
Like the OP states, the mystery seems to be, why is the odor only at the vanity? All responses, so far, speak to whole system issues that generate the odor, but do not account for the localized nature of this particular problem.
Questions for the OP (or his friend.) Is the odor from the HOT side, the COLD side, or both? If unknown, run a test and see.
Is the vanity the only sink where there are vent holes under the rim? If so, that may be the reason the odor is only found there. Perhaps the smell is coming from the vent holes as the water is flowing down the drain since the holes are typically found under the rim, closest to the user. The same odor may be coming from the other faucets as well, but are not detected because the drains are not vented close to the user.

Sanitizing the system is a good idea but it is not the problem. The water systems goes all over the RV. All faucets would smell.
Someone is smelling the gray water. Look for an air admittance valve under the sink. Remember, if it was the water it would be all over the RV.

Maybe just the line that goes to that sink is contaminated and the rest are fine. I dont know if the water lines are run individually to each faucet or if they are in a series. Bacteria is funny stuff. Might as well do the whole system.

The vanity sinks in our ‘14 Anthem emptied into the black tank. We would occasionally get sewer smell in the coach and discovered it was from the shallow P-traps in those sinks splashing dry. When we ran some water in the sinks the odor would go away. Maybe your half-bath sink P-trap is also splashing dry and the smell is from the gray tank, not the water?
