No doubt if trading in with a dealer. They also have to make money on the sale of the trade in. If not trading in, then the dealers profit on a private sale can go towards the purchase price of a new coach.

I know that is hard to do for most full timers, but those of us that season travel, the home time gives us the opportunity to make the private party sale.

Gene I have to agree 100%. I have personally seen the new floor "anchoring" system, it is a lot more than spacers, they are also weights, and ends the Classic floor problems I have. I have also seen the new quality control station(s) and the number of people checking and double checking the entire coach. I would also like to see and hear of how a coach with a floor being mentioned could possibly even happen. Like noel said, I am sure one of the upper management would want to see that coach in person, if it exists.

Now, if someone wants to see a bad floor, come look at mine. Entegra learned how to improve floor installation and I don't think you will ever see this happen again. The nice part, my floor will be fixed in July....most tiles started come loose in the second year of ownership, still under warranty

The way I think about the cost of the rv is that sooner or later I am going to have to pay off one. I figure that I am currently upside down on my rig at least 20 grand at this point in ownership. That was with 35 upfront when I bought it.

I looked at a new Allegro Bus recently and the dude wanted 50 grand upfront to finance. I am sure I could have gotten a little better but nothing significant. So my current unit is worth nothing in that scenario matter of fact it is worth less than that. So 50 grand for the new unit plus tax and if this is the one I finally get stuck with at the end then probably another 50 or 60 grand out of pocket.

That is a lot of cash to part with...just saying. And Cash is king in today's world. On the kid front ... they get whatever is left when we are gone. However, I depend on income from investments, so you can not really spend the nest egg without running out of money for yourself. I do not intend to spend just so there is nothing left because that is impossible. And I like my kids.
