Highway 12 Utah, going from Escalante to Zions

I am driving from Escalante, Utah to Zion National Park and plan to take the Interstate Route. I understand there are 2 short rock tunnels on Utah Highway 12 near Bryce Canyon. I am told they are 13'2". My 2017 Anthem 44B is 13'0". I am wondering if anyone has driven this route lately and has thoughts on these tunnels. I think they are in an area known as Red Canyon

thanks

I went through there 4 years ago with my other Anthem and was a little worried but it wasn't a problem (I drove through the middle) but I thought the clearance was 13'6"

I went through last fall 44B
Very cool [emoji41]
They stop the on coming traffic to allow you to drive in the center of the tunnel
They will ask you to disconnect your tow vehicle at the park gate

Great drive

I live in this area... there is no tunnel that you need to worry about in your coach...

by the way... a 2017 anthem 44 b top height is 12 foot 6 inches according to entegra specs..not 13..

enjoy this area as its endless the things you can do...

Just went through them a few days ago. The sign says 13'6". I'm pulling a 40' 5th wheel with a semi which is 13'6" tall. Lets say I was a little concerned when I went through them. I believe they measure at the lowest point to the road and the tunnels are arched so I was OK. I did move to the center of the road just in case.

PS. I think the tunnel Chuck is talking about is the east entrance to Zion, I'm talking about the tunnels just west of Bryce. I really wouldn't call them tunnels, more like arches.

Call the park gate. Let them know you are coming. They'll issue you a pass, they'll shut the road at the tunnels and you can drive the center. [emoji1360]

You'll have enough room. As stated try to stay towards the center.

I am talking about the arches in Red Canyon near Bryce, not in Zion.
thanks for the input

I just call Entegra Support and Les said the 2017 Anthem is 12'9".
I have the new electronic manual and don't see it in there.

We just passed through Bryce tunnel 3 weeks ago. No problems
Also Hwy 12 is spectacular and scenic drive. Take it slow on declines and you
will have no problems....

Anybody know what changed in 2018 to make the coach 3 inches shorter?

Probably the awning boxes. At least that's what changed the classic models from 12, 11 to 12,9 in 2016 according to pj...
