No picture, but the four L16 batteries are located in the basement right in front of the wet bay and the water/sewage tanks. On a 19 Cornerstone, in the 4th section from the front on the passenger side, there are two big electrical switches facing outward that shut down all the batteries. The next section toward the center has a removable panel, and that panel hides many of the circuit breakers for the whole house. Further in, in the middle is a large compartment, again behind a removable panel, sit the 4 L-16 batteries.
There is no sliding tray at all. In fact, one owners who has added two more L16 batteries, showed a picture of his set up, and it appeared that the batteries were held in place only by a wood strip screwed to the floor of the basement that blocked the 2 additional batteries in position.
The batteries are AGMs, and therefore, don't need regular service.
Have never had to deal with the batteries in 10 months and hope that I never have to, but they are dead center in that 4th bay and would be a bear to get in or out... If I do have a problem, I am sure that I will be happy to pay a younger and stronger guy deal with the batteries.
