Im getting ready to change my house batteries to AMG Fullriver. Do I need to change anything on the magnum controller?

Yes, there are settings to optimize the charge of the Fullriver AGM batteries. Which model are you getting, and how many batteries?

I have 4 Excide GC-135 that are junk. Just heard back from fullriver and they said DC-250-6. Do I still need 4? Thanks for the help.

Yes, still need 4. Two will not power the refrigerator long at all.

Yes, keep the 4 batteries. I will send you a PM with the Fullriver settings.

Which batteries did you go with? Were they 6v or 12v?

Has anyone on the board switched over to the Battleborn or other Litihium cells?

757Driver has switched to Lithium and has several long threads up here on this forum describing the batteries, charger and his choices.

Just thought I would post a picture of the battery install. I did unbolt the battery tray from the chassis and cleaned it up with a grinder and wire wheel. I then treaded it with rust sealer, primer and paint. I did have several hours in this with the work done to the tray.

Batteries

Hi, I know lots of things have been written about batteries but canít seem to find what I was looking for. When we got the coach I parked where there was no power because the guy didnít like having it plugged in. We canít get it down to our house because of the switchbacks. Of course it ruin the batteries but at time I didnít know better. Now it is time to replace them. I have heard good things about Lifetime batteries. I will use AGM but didnít like the other kind because of the coast & not liking the cold. After I clean & repaint the battery box for the second time. This coach has always had a corrosion problem since it was new. I asked them to fix it at the factory visit & they blow it off, another bitch.
My other question is if I put them in NW were we live & drive to Las Vegas to have the charging system checked would it hurt them in a amount of time?? I could stop in Or at that Beaver dealer to have it looked at it. Thanks Bruce
