How do you stop the "Trumpet Sound" coming from my Aqua Hot Exhaust?
I had it in the shop for this repair and they "updated" the exhaust pipe. Now that it cold (15 degrees) outside I hear it every time the Aqua Hot turns on. It is so loud the RV Manager has had complaints from other RVs around me.

Is it a diesel or LP Aqua Hot? If it is LP there is a post here about changing the fuel to air orifice. If it is diesel, does it have many hours on it?

My Aspire has propane. 1Mainaic or something like that, had the answer. You close down the air to fuel mixture just a little. It is set for high altitude at the Aquahot factory, where there is less Oxygen, so it is opened up large to provide enough Oxygen to burn. It is trial and error to get it so it doesn't make a loud noise. Move it small amounts as it doesn't take much. Mine still makes noise, but at least I know it is working:-)

Like brobox said you need to change the air fuel mixture. I have a 2014 Aspire with the LP Aqua hot system and I had the same problem. It was disturbing the other RV's in the camp ground. You need to take the cover off and you will see where to make the adjustment. Adjust the air intake.

Thank you for the information as to how to make the sound go away. Do you turn the air / fuel valve clockwise or counter clockwise. I don't want to run it too lean or rich?

Look for an orange "glow" in the sight glass....NOT all blue.

You'll need to engage the interlock switch with the cover off...(tape it down or put a weight on the button switch so the safety interlock is pressed down).

You'll need to loosen the locking screw, slightly move the air intake, tighten it, and then attempt to light the burner.
