How Long Did it Take
Hello All,
Getting closer everyday to a new coach. The bride brought up a good question.....Once you signed on the dotted line for you new Entera; how long did it take to build the MH and deliver it to you?
Thx,
-paul

6 months, but that was in the dead of winter across the holidays. I think it's somewhat faster in the summer.

We ordered mid September and were just told it went to the paint booth last week with an expected delivery date of mid February.

We ordered last week of September and delivered last of March. Production was halted several times last Jan & Feb due to ice storms and snow. Then when the coach was finished it sat on the to be delivered lot for three weeks waiting for delivery drivers and bad roads to improve. It is not something you want rushed, and if the roads are terrible it's not good to get your new RV driven over lots of salty roads.

Okay - Great!!! I'll use six months as worst case and four months as best case. The wife will use five months so that she can make her plans.
Thanks folks - Appreciate the responses.

Our delivery was in the same group, but ordered the first week in Sept and arrived the last week of Feb. Weather and RV show sales will be a factor in delivery time. If there are a bunch of orders from one of the big shows, then all deliveries will be longer.

We are definitely not in a hurry . . . well maybe a little. Would prefer for it not to be driven over salty roads. Winter this year certainly not as bad as last year, so far

Same here. Our plan would be to order approximately this time next year for a June to July delivery. Sooner would be fine also.
The house will go up for sale around the April time frame. Employment over around the August time frame. Then a slow drive to a warmer climate to work out our full-timing adventure.....

Ordering this time of year is a good news/bad news situation. The good news is if you order now, you will get a 2016 model, not a 2015 model. The bad news is that you will get a 2016 model, which will have changes from the 2015 that you now see at the show. You may or may not like the changes. From the group discussion in Tampa with Pat Carroll of Entegra, I came away with the impression that the changes for 2016 may be significant.

Like MRUSA14 said above, if you only want certain appliances or furniture, make sure you find out if Entegra is planning a change for the new year models. We looked at a new coach, then ordered ours thinking we would have the same furnishings, only to get different fridge, microwave, rear camera, and sofa with our ordered coach. Remember not all changes are for the better. Good luck and have fun.

Ordered my 2015 Conerstone on 11/21/2014. Last update it would be off the line on the 16th of February and delivered to me around the 25th of February.
