How many days?

How many days does it take entegra to build a coach? Has anyone watched their coach being built?

Hard to do as painting is what takes the time. Aspire a week or two, Anthem two to three weeks, and Cornerstone...well a lot of time to add a lot of clear coat. So it depends on the coach...and whether you have 4-6 weeks to watch.

Tom, with weather delays right now, it's hard to put a build schedule on a MH when people cannot get to work with the road conditions. I saw on the Weather Channel this morning that Indiana has had 41 days straight of snow. I called Heather in Transportation yesterday and she was not able to make it in to work. All of these delays are going to put other orders behind, I am sure.

My MH was ordered on 9/19 and finished on 1/31 with a back-order parts delay and a couple of weather delays during the build. How many actual build days, I don't know.

Do now know,, Ordered my Damon in 2005 after the Novi RV show, got it on May 20th.

However right now much of the N.E is kind of burried.. Music Director was complaining that some music she had ordered from GIA publishing had not yet arrived.. . I've been to GIA.. They are in Chicago.. no small wonder the shipment is delayed.

I don't really care to see the paint work but I would not mind watching the assembly of the coach. I know there are a lot of weather delays now but within the next month that should be over (I hope)

Tom, just take the tour, they all look alike until you move your "stuff" in.

I think you have the winning idea it would be hard to line up airline tickets and rescedualling at the office on short notice .maybe on our next coach after we retire

If you can find out the day and are only interested in the coach itself, they go together over a couple of days. On the coach itself one of the longer items is the tile floors...they are done one day and cure for 24 hours (maybe 48) before anyone walks on them.

Brobox is on the mark. Do the tour and you'll see "yours" being built. It is actually interesting to see the various builds based upon floor plans. Certainly an interesting 2-3 hours.

Tom,

We are going to try and watch the initial stages of ours being built. Perhaps we will take a tour 2 days in a row and get some behind the scenes and behind the walls pictures which may be helpful it future modifications/troubleshooting.

It turns out that we will not get the opportunity to watch our coach being built. Talked to Heather today and it is due to come off the production line in a few days. Who knows, we may see our coach in Canada near the start of April vs. the end of April.

That is good news that it has been moving along with all of the weather and production delays. I might see mine about the same time, weather permitting However mine will still be a 2014
