How to remove Living Area Ceiling Light?

Does anyone know how to remove living area ceiling light on my 2017 Anthem? I would like to remove a bug inside lens cover of light. I have previously removed other ceiling lights by grasping the light and pulling downward but the living room lights are encircled by a wood ring and I cannot pull down on lens cover. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Just guessing, but pull down on whole wood ring?

Simply insert a thin flat blade screwdriver between the wood ring and the lense, gently pry the lense down until you can grab by your fingers and then remove just like the ones not encased by a wood ring.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used a thin narrow blade knife and worked it in between the light lens and the wooden ring and was able to pry the light down. Problem solved - stink bug removed. Thanks again. Barry
