How to turn on the TV
My son came for a visit last week and got my TV, DVD, Sound bar all working. He added Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Apple TV and Harmony Companion to the system so we can not turn on any component with a voice command, play Amazon music over the sound bar with voice commands. We still need a remote to control channels and volume but next trip he will work on that, no more guessing as to what buttons to push to run each component.
He also install a Blink security camera that lets us see if someone enters the coach when we are away it's has motion detection also. We get Text and phone call when motion is detected.
Long term he wants to control entire coach by voice commands and phone when we are away.

Sounds like a nice setup. What do you use for wifi to connect everything?

I remember when you had to get up off the couch and walk over to the TV to change anything. Now, you can't even find the button on the TV that turns it on and off.

If you have animals that travel with, you might want to look at the piper security camera. It has a temperature sensor built in and will can send you alerts via wifi/mobile hotspot.

I don't get it, what's different from the way I have it now! I'm yelling at the tv, my DW is yelling at me for yelling at the tv and nothing changes! I can definitely save money on this!

When I sold my company this year I got 5 years of cell and wifi coverage for 2 iPhones and 2 iPads with Verizon we also haves Verizon hot spot for backup.

No animals and the Blink has temperature sensor and works by wifi

yeah right.....we remember it a little differently. Must be an age gap because I remember dad telling me to get up and change the channel. Fortunately back then we only had 3 channels.
