I-Pad Used With Entegra Coaches

Hi! I have heard that if you buy an Entegra coach there is an option to buy an I-Pad for the controls of the inside of the coach, is this true? I have looked for this on the Entegra web site and have looked for it on the dealers web site and there is no mention of this??

Hello Grandcanyon,

The only place I've found this option is on the build of the Cornerstone, but I'm not sure that it's worth the price.

iPad control center
$5,100.00

I saw a reference to iPad controls in the 2013 Anthem Operating Manual and asked my salesman about it. He said it was only available on Cornerstones.

Our Cornerstone came equipped with the option. Nice to be able to control lights, TV through one device. That said, TDWayne is right, it is expensive and i still have use a separate controller for the satellite TV? Sort of defeats the purpose/value. Wouldn't have ordered the option if my coach didn't already have it equipped.

Thanks for the information on the I-Pad

Again, Thanks for the information on the I-Pad, for that much money it should be able to handle most of everything electrical in the coach, I guess I will not be ordering this option when I place my order for a new Entegra!!

Strangely enough my Aspire has some CAT5 cabling in the entertainment area. I asked Tadd from Entegra what it was for. He said they wire all the Entegras for the iPad control option. I've never seen a Aspire with the iPad but evidently they are wired if you wanted to add it.

If it is in the entertainment area, one would think you could control the TVs and satellites. On the other hand figuring it out how might require a couple of geeks from Apple, Winegard, and Stanford.
