Ignition

Just bought 2014 Cornerstone (14k miles) from local dealer here in Orange County, California. Great dealership but they know nothing about Entegra, so I have a feeling I'll be on this site a lot.

Here I go: when I take key out of ignition, basically everything stays on except engine. Radio, cameras, etc.! Therefore, I turn Master Power off every time I leave coach.

Is this normal?

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry I can't answer you question directly , except to stay that my coach has an ignition system relay , so that not all the power flows through the switch it's self, If your coach has one too it could be sticking.
I'm sure that someone with more knowledge of your unit will be along soon.

Yes, that is normal. It is because if you didn't do it that way, the GPS would have to re-boot every time you stopped for a minute, along with re-setting your route, volume control, etc.

The only time we shut it all down is when we park for the night (press and hold the lower left button on the nav). Don't know if you've had an "all-electric" coach before, but these coaches are so battery dependent, a small drain like the rear camera or the GPS doesn't change usage much in terms of percentage.

Get used to running your generator for a couple of hours each morning and night unless you are plugged in.

I predict you're gonna love the coach, welcome to the family!

Welcome to the forum and your new Entegra. Look forward to seeing on the forum.
Yes, all of the other 12V items are being run by the house Batteries(eight of them), and not the coach (ignition) batteries, only two of those. Did you receive the owners manual and books with the coach?

There is also a green search box at the top of the page. First type in "Entegra" then what you are looking for. That will bring up questions from the Entegra forum first. A lot of times you can get answers with pictures there instantly. If not, ask away, we're happy to help.
